I want to blow your mind. I’m an enigma, wrapped in a puzzle, wrapped in bacon. I like long weekends of the four day variety. I’m never late, unless I figure a good excuse. I’ll keep you on your toes and sweep you off your feet.
There are no failed relationships, because every person in your life has a lesson to teach. Sometimes you simply outgrow people. Don’t try to fix the unfixable, just accept it and move on. When someone leaves you, it’s important to emotionally release them. And know it’s not an ending – it’s a new beginning. It just means that their part in your story is over. Your story will go on.
Sometimes you have to respect another person’s feelings even if they don’t mean anything to you, because your gesture could mean everything to them. And remember, what goes around comes around in the world. You get respect when you give respect. So treat everyone with kindness and respect, even those who are rude to you – not because they are nice, but because you are.
One day your life will flash before your eyes; make sure it’s worth watching. Stop and think about it. Really think about it. What is it that you really want to do with your life? Forget what you think you should do. What excites you? What feels impossible? Be honest with yourself. Your answers don’t need to make an impression on anyone but you.
okay dolls, so I’ve been busy working and getting my new apartment settled, preparing myself for a new chapter in my life to begin. A month ago i lost my mima (grandmother), besides my father my grandma took a big hand in raising me as a young child. I never got the opportunity to revisit her but my memories of her are beautiful. Mother earth received your love respect and your journey to your afterlife should be a pleasant one. I love you and although you have passed on you will live on threw all of us. Being the last of the tribe I valued your insight on spirituality, mother earth and on the ways one should live life by. You live on threw me.
Years ago you sent both me and Christopher identical white gold necklaces. I haven’t worn it for a couple of months and since I’ve been constantly moving i haven’t had time to look threw my things up untill today. Going threw my things I realize most of my clothes have gone missing and as I go threw my jewelry the necklace you’ve giving me has magically disappeared along with other jewelry my father has giving me along the years. It’s no surprise my clothes has gone missing as it has happened time and time again from the same exact person. I have let these incidents slide for far too long, I’ve swallowed my pride and even gone out of my way to help this girl out. Nice people do end up last
It’s either I’m in or I’m out. It’s either I stay or I leave. Everyone seems to be out playing this cat and mouse game and I seriously don’t see the sense in it. It’s fun for a while until someone gets hurt. I’m all about that sincerity being shared, that realness being shown. Anything in between is a game and I’m not about that.
It’s crazy how you always end up where you’re meant to be – how even the most tragic and stressful situations eventually teach you important lessons that you never dreamed you were going to learn. Remember, oftentimes when things are falling apart, they are actually falling into place.
Blu & Exile - Show Me The Good Life (ft. Aloe Blacc & Joseph)
Show Me The Good Life is off of Blu & Exile’s classic collab album Below The Heavens. Exile’s production for this song is outstanding and the lyrics are intelligent and on point…just like every other song on the album.
“Fuck jewels…I think my soul glows bright enough. And fuck whips…I learn more when I ride the bus. And fuck gold…its bad enough that we fight for bucks. And fuck hoes…cuz in the end I need a wife to love.”
As you look back on your life, you will often realize that many of the times you thought you were being rejected from something good, you were in fact being redirected to something better. You can’t control everything. Sometimes you just need to relax and have faith that things will work out. Let go a little and just let life happen. Because sometimes the truths you can’t change, end up changing you and helping you grow.
